Restaurant Week begins on Sunday

SALEM — Problem: How do you get the crowds back once Halloween is over?

Solution: Hold a Restaurant Week.

The Salem Chamber of Commerce has done just that by signing up 22 restaurants, including some newcomers, for Fall Restaurant Week, which begins Sunday and runs through Thursday.

Participating restaurants are offering a two-course dinner menu for $15 and a three-course meal for $25.

Destination Salem will post a photograph of one of the participating restaurants on its Facebook page (Facebook.com/DestSalem) and invite fans to “tag” the photo. At the end of each day, a randomly selected winner will receive a $25 restaurant gift certificate. In addition, during Fall Restaurant Week, winners will be given a $25 Salem Chamber of Commerce gift certificate, valid at any of the participating restaurants.

For more information, visit www.salem-chamber.org or contact Benjamin Bouchard, assistant director of the chamber, at 978-744-0004.

Participating restaurants include 62 Restaurant, Adriatic, Bella Verona, Cafe Polonia, Capt.’s Waterfront Grill & Pub, Cilantro, Finz, Grapevine, Green Land Cafe, Howling Wolf Taqueria, The Lobster Shanty, The Lyceum, Nathaniel’s, Passage to India, Regatta Pub, Rockafellas, Salem Beer Works, Seaport Cafe, Tavern at the Hawthorne Hotel, Tavern in the Square, Thai Place and Victoria Station
